The Denver Broncos are members of the AFC West Division. Established in 1960, the team joined the National Football League in 1970, following the merger of the NFL and the AFL. Currently the team plays home games at Sports Authority Field at Mile High in Denver, Colorado. Starting in 1972, the football powers smiled on the Denver Broncos, giving them their first ever winning season with a 7-5-2 mark. The team's new period of success saw hometown fans clamoring to get their hands on Denver Broncos tickets. In 1977 the team made its first playoff appearance. Throughout the late 1970s and into the 1980s the Broncos hit a crest that saw them participate in eight playoffs and bring home a number of conference and division wins. Not until the 1990s did the team gain their first Super Bowl title, and never wanting to be outdone the Orange Crush pulled a twofer and swept up consecutive triumphs, against the Green Bay Packers and Atlanta Falcons, respectively. The Broncos do everything with passion, including maintaining their rivalries with the Kansas City Chiefs, Oakland Raiders and Los Angeles Chargers. The Denver Broncos are always striving towards that higher ground.
