The Seattle Seahawks joined the NFL through the 1976 expansion. The Seahawks are the only team to switch conferences twice in the post-merger era. The Hawks have earned a number of division championships, won conference championship titles, and have made multiple playoff showings.

Seattle had a phenomenal winning season in 2005, and went on to win the NFC Championship, but lost to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Super Bowl XL. In 2012, Quarterback Russell Wilson went on to win the Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Year award, and the following year the Seahawks coveted a Super Bowl title at the end of the 2013 post season. Seattle’s 2013 Super Bowl win over the Denver Broncos was the third-largest win differential in Super Bowl history, with the Seahawks winning 43-8. Typical of professional sporting teams, the Seahawks have innate rivalries in their division with the San Francisco 49ers, Arizona Cardinals and the the Los Angeles Rams.

Members of the NFC West, the team plays at CenturyLink Field, located in Seattle proper. CenturyLink Field is in the SoDo district, neighboring the tremendous waters of the Puget Sound.

Known for its fan base, the world record for loudest crowd was set at CenturyLink Field during a Seahawks game against the New Orleans Saints in 2013. Kick off your NFL season with great seats when you purchase your Seattle Seahawks tickets now!
